The 100 acres of lush forest and fields surrounding our center make is a natural place to retreat.
Use the entry foyer for a registration table, to hang jackets and bags, or to step away from the group for a private moment.
Our 1600 square foot Seminar Room features a large field-stone fireplace flanked by plentiful windows and open beams.
Flexible seating arrangements allow your event to flow naturally throughout the day.
A natural break in the space allows for two areas of focus, one for eating or table work...
...and another for whole group discussion around a central feature such as storyboarding on a white board or projecting visuals.
Our lodge style room creates an engaging environment ideal for productive meetings, trainings and retreats.
The natural environment surrounding the room removes participants from the hustle and bustle of their normal day and allows them to focus on your goals.
Corroboree Yurt Details:
- Circular wooden shelters of Mongolian and Turkish origins
- No running water, no electricity, composting toilets
- Outdoor fire ring and picnic table
- Propane heater to provide warmth on cold days
The Corroborree yurt is nestled in the trees half a mile from the main building.
A simple natural space with built in benches makes this a perfect rustic retreat for a small scouting or adventure group willing to go off-the-grid.
The "vaulted" ceiling makes the room feel large and open, and provides space for indoor activities.
Natural is the only form of lighting in this off-the-grid space surrounded with windows.
Our yurt is still open in the winter, with a small propane heater to reduce the chill, for adventurers willing to tackle the elements.
