Is catering included in our training day?
Catering is not included. We request that clients manage their own catering vendor to assure the quality and desired service matches expectations. We are available to answer any questions a catering company may have about access to the facility or general questions about the space. Upon request we can provide a list of catering vendors that other clients have used successfully.
Do you travel to other sites for trainings?
We can travel to your site for a training, or work with you to find a suitable training venue.
Why don’t you have any pricing listed?
Depending on the structure, duration, number of participants and content of the training you can expect a wide range of pricing scenarios. Having a conversation with us is the best way to learn more about what you may expect to invest.
Can The Browne Center custom design a training for my company?
All of our trainings are custom designed based on the needs of each individual client.
Do we have to do the Challenge Course?
Most corporate trainings do not utilize the challenge course as a tool. While the challenge course is an exciting opportunity for some groups to connect with we find that most of our business clients have greater success transferring the experience through other simulations and initiatives. These activities are often more relatable to typical work situations while still providing an exhilarating challenge.
We are a non-profit or public school. Can we receive a discount?
No, our youth programming fees are at the lowest we can charge. Our fees are based on the assumption that schools and youth serving agencies need to stretch every dollar. Our pricing is competitive with other comparable professional challenge course operators. We offer three levels of pricing to work with our clients to create a program that fits most budgets.
Is food included in price?
Pricing does not include food. Programming fees are for planning, design and facilitation. Most youth clients opt to bring a brown bag lunch. Should you wish to purchase lunch locally, we are happy to supply you with quality food vendors in our area.
Can I have a rain date?
We are outdoors rain or shine. Our scheduling does not allow for rain dates. In the event of severe weather, your Lead Facilitator or a Program Manager will communicate with you in a timely manner to discuss options.
Do you require chaperones?
Yes, one chaperone per small group. We will staff one facilitator on the challenge course for every 12 youth. Chaperones are not factored into the cost as they partner with our staff to provide coverage. In the event of an emergency, we ask chaperones to make sure the rest of the group is safe while we respond to the emergency.
Is it safe? Are your staff certified?
The challenge course field has amazing safety statistics that should appeal to every risk manager. We are safer than almost every youth sport known. Additionally, we at The Browne Center have an exceptional record. All of our systems are designed for redundancy and meet the highest safety standards. In alignment with industry standards, our staff are all first aid and CPR certified and are verified in their technical skills on a biennial basis. Our challenge course is inspected regularly by our staff and serviced annually by Project Adventure, Inc.
What is included in the Seminar Room meeting space rental?
Tables and chairs for up to 65 people, 4x6’ mobile whiteboard with markers, two paper easels with markers, access to a projector and screen, WiFi and 5 supply tables. A conference phone is available by request that includes just the physical phone and access to a call out line, the client will need to utilize their own conference calling service.
Do you manage catering?

What about coffee and tea service?
For an additional fee we offer coffee and tea service for the duration of the rental period.
Can I get into the space early to set up?
The rental agreement outlines the specific rental times and determines when you have access to the facility. Please be sure to review this document for accuracy prior to signing.
Can I rent the Challenge Course?
For liability and insurance reasons we require staff from The Browne Center to deliver any trainings on the Challenge Course and it is not available for rental. If you are interested in adding this type of opportunity to your day please give us a call and we can discuss options.
