February Featured Facilitator: Josh Hughes

Please share any experiences of co-facilitating with Josh or having him as your facilitator on our facebook page.

Josh Hughes, M.S. Kinesiology with a focus on Outdoor Education, joined The Browne Center in 2005.  He holds the role of lead facilitator.  Josh grew in the Lakes Region with a scout camp in his back yard.  He started working on Challenge Courses with the Boy Scouts in 2000 as an instructor, eventually becoming a Director.

His time with the Scouts taught him value of the challenge course and how it can be used to teach life skills to all ages.  His Challenge Course work is split between facilitating at The Browne Center and tackling his new volunteer role as a Program Manager for the Boy Scouts Challenge Course.

When not doing adventure work, Josh currently works full-time as a Driver Trainer for the University of New Hampshire Transportation Services in Durham NH.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors exploring with his wife Kristen and their daughter Abby.
