Challenge Course Facilitators

The Browne Center is the community service learning laboratory for the University of New Hampshire’s Outdoor Education Program’s undergraduate and graduate degree programs. In this capacity, we have the opportunity to work with aspiring facilitators and seasoned practitioners.

Professional development for challenge course facilitators provides an introduction to the equipment, techniques, and procedures necessary to safely run a challenge course program. Specific topics include group process and sequencing, belay methods, and operating procedures for low and high challenge course elements. Intermediate and advanced training is also available.
