Institutes

The Browne Center’s High Performance Institutes are designed to support your learning and development needs and enhance the fundamental skills necessary to lead, manage and supervise people effectively. Our approach is a blended learning model that includes: content and theory presentations, experiential learning labs and exercises, assessments and tools, small group work, process improvement projects, coaching and feedback sessions.

We believe that this blended approach provides an optimal learning environment that supports the development of individuals in a diverse workforce. Material is presented through a series of action-based learning activities, helping participants to more deeply assimilate the knowledge gained.

Facilitators provide debriefing sessions and coaching throughout the program, providing additional opportunities to relate learning experiences to the actual work environment.

  • Follow-up sessions utilizing a repeat 360 feedback tool
  • Coaching sessions at 3, 6, 9 month intervals

Leadership Development Institute

Provides leaders with the fundamental skills necessary to lead and manage people effectively.  Designed for people who lead, manage, or influence the activities of others.  Through the Institute program, managers receive: feedback from peers, direct reports, suggestions of priorities and skill-building exercises, individual development plans and measurements of progress.  Managers gain a new perspective on their strengths, opportunities for development and insight into their blind spots.

The goal of this Institute is to develop an understanding of the nature of successful teams and the key components to increasing team effectiveness.  For established or new teams, this course will provide a common understanding and improved methodology to more effectively achieve team goals.

Managing Change Institute

This Institute reviews the very best frameworks from change management gurus and provides participants with an opportunity to work through relevant case material, gaining invaluable tips and ‘tricks of the trade’ from the practical examples.  Above all, it enables participants to focus on what they need to do to make their own change initiatives successful.
